About SmoothCast — Screen recording Software
SmoothCast is a native macOS screen‑recording app that records and automatically edits videos. It adds automatic zoom‑and‑pan, a synthetic smooth cursor with click ripples, studio‑quality backgrounds with padding and shadows, optional microphone and webcam overlays, and on‑device caption transcription. All processing runs locally on Apple‑Silicon Macs (macOS 14 Sonoma or later), with a tiny install size and Apple notarization.
