About Prismedia

Prismedia is a private, self‑hosted media library that links discovery, acquisition, metadata, files, playback, reading, and listening. It runs as a single Docker image exposing one port, and provides a unified experience for movies, series, music, audiobooks, books, comics, images, and galleries across web, iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Features include shared library identity, progressive tracking, native playback with direct‑play, stream copy, adaptive HLS, subtitle and transcript support, and first‑class reading of EPUB, PDF, and comics with synchronized audiobook progress.
