About Dencho

Dencho is a tape‑style calculator for iPhone and iPad that lets you edit any line on a calculation tape and automatically recomputes all subsequent lines. You can save each tape as a named sheet, keep per‑sheet rounding modes, decimal places and tax rates, add note‑only lines, and view a running total bar. The app includes unlimited undo/redo, three text sizes, light/dark mode, and offers a one‑time Pro upgrade for unlimited sheets, widgets and sheet sharing, all without ads or data collection.

Capabilities

Editable tape calculator

Tap any line—starting value, operator, or operand—to edit it; all lines below recompute instantly, with changed lines highlighted.

Save named sheets

Save each tape as a sheet, sorted by last edited, showing its total and line count; sheets persist on device.

Note‑only lines

Insert lines that don’t affect calculations but appear in sharing and search.

Per‑sheet settings

Set rounding mode, decimal places (0‑4) and tax rate per sheet; settings are saved and reapplied when the sheet is reopened.

Undo/Redo

One‑tap undo rolls back the last action; redo restores it, covering edits, inserts, reorders, and deletions.

Unlimited sheets (Pro)

One‑time ¥800 (US$4.99) purchase unlocks unlimited sheets, widgets, and sheet sharing via text export.

Dark/Light mode & text size

Choose between three text sizes and light or dark appearance.

No ads or tracking

All calculations stay on‑device; the app makes no network calls except for Apple StoreKit purchases.
